PHL Charge d’ Affaires, a.i. Vida Soraya S. Verzosa met with the Philippine Honorary Consul General in Aleppo Wassim Nanaa on 24 December 2020 and 10 January 2021 at the Philippine Embassy.

CDA Verzosa and CG Nanaa discussed the proposed projects of Damascus PE and Aleppo PCG such as the sister city agreement between Makati City and Aleppo Governorate, the Aleppo and Damascus Trade Fairs, the digital transformation and other future projects to be undertaken between Damascus and Aleppo. They also threshed out consular concerns and explored possible areas of cooperation, particularly the protection of Filipino workers’ and repatriation. END.
